Food Trucks of Thanks

As part of our awesome GovLoop community, you're probably used to getting tons of resources and trainings for free.

And now, along with our partner Pure Storage, we're adding lunch to that list!

Join us and your public service peers Wednesday, July 10 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. ET in Washington, D.C. for Food Trucks of Thanks! We know how hard you work in government and we want to do our part to say thank you.

We'll have four different food trucks serving from two different locations in Washington, D.C.:

  • Federal Triangle: BBQ Bus and Ball or Nothing
  • Judiciary Square: Peruvian Brothers and DC Slices

All you need to do to claim your lunch is fill out the form to the right. You will receive a voucher via email that you must bring with you on July 10 or present on your phone to claim your lunch. This is a first come, first served event so we suggest getting in line early!

We will email you the morning of Wednesday, July 10 with the exact locations of the food trucks, as well as share on Twitter (@GovLoop).

Your Food Truck Options:

Federal Triangle:

BBQ Bus Menu
Pick 1 entree (each option includes 1 bottle of water):

  • Smoky pulled pork sandwich and 1 side
  • Spicy chicken jalapeno sandwich and 1 side
  • Picnic plate with pork or chicken and 2 sides

Side dish choices:

  • BBQ Bus beans
  • Vinaigrette slaw
  • Collard greens
  • Fresh watermelon
  • Kettle Chips


Ball or Nothing Menu
Pick 3 meatballs and 2 sides (each option includes 1 bottle of water):

  • Classic (beef) meatballs
  • Veggie balls
  • BBQ chicken balls

Pick 2 sides:

  • Mac and cheese
  • Roasted cauliflower
  • Simple salad

Judiciary Square:

Peruvian Brothers Menu
Pick 1 meat platter (each option includes 1 bottle of water):

  • Asado (beef)
  • Pollo (chicken)
  • Butifarra (pork loin)
Pick 2 sides:

  • Wild rice
  • Quinoa salad
  • Mixed greens
  • Fried plantains

DC Slices Menu
Pick 2 slices or 1 slice and a side of tater tots (each option includes 1 bottle of water):

  • Pepperoni
  • Cheese
  • Veggies

The food trucks will be at the following locations*:

  • Judiciary Square: Peruvian Brothers and DC Slices

*We will email everyone who has registered for this event on the morning of Wednesday, July 10 with exact food truck locations. We will also keep you updated on Twitter, follow us @GovLoop!

Parking: There are several public parking garages available on the same block as the event space as well as metered parking. Parking is not included in your event registration.
