Food Trucks of Thanks

As part of our awesome GovLoop community, you're probably used to getting tons of resources and trainings for free. 

And now, along with our partner Dell Technologies, we're adding lunch to that list!

Join us and your public service peers Wednesday, May 1 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. ET in Washington, D.C. for Food Trucks of Thanks! We know how hard you work in government and we want to do our part to say thank you and that we appreciate everything you do. 

We'll have four different food trucks serving from two different locations in Washington, D.C.:

  • Federal Triangle: Peruvian Brothers and Cap Mac
  • Foggy Bottom: Pho Wheels and BBQ Bus

All you need to do to claim your lunch is fill out the form to the right. You will receive a voucher via email that you must bring with you on May 1 or present on your phone to claim your lunch. This is a first come, first served event so we suggest getting in line early! 

We will email you the morning of Wednesday, May 1 with the exact locations of the food trucks, as well as share on Twitter (@GovLoop).

Your Food Truck Options:

Federal Triangle:

Cap Mac Menu
Pick one entree (each option includes 1 bottled water):

  • Classic Mac (vegetarian): 60-day aged cheddar, Cheese-Itz crumble, chives
  • CapMac Bolognese: Creekstone Farm ground beef, root vegetables, cabernet sauvignon, fresh cream, parmesan
  • Buffalo Mac: Aged cheddars, house-made hot sauce, chicken meatballs, garlic-herb seasoning
  • Signature Salad: Seasonal greens and veggies with balsamic vinaigrette

Peruvian Brothers Menu
Pick one meat platter (each option includes 1 drink):
  • Asado (beef)
  • Pollo (chicken
  • Butifarra (pork loin)
Pick two sides:
  • Wild rice
  • Quinoa salad
  • Mixed greens
  • Fried plantains

Foggy Bottom:

Pho Wheels Menu
Pick one entree (each option includes one shrimp and pork egg roll and 1 drink):

  • Banh Mi: Vietnamese sandwich with chicken, pork belly or mushroom-onion tofu
  • Tacos (2): Vietnamese-style tacos with chicken, pork belly or mushroom-onion tofu
  • Pho: Vietnamese beef noodle soup with eye-round steak, beef meatballs or chicken
  • Signature Salad: Seasonal greens and veggies with balsamic vinaigrette
  • comes with one bottled water

BBQ Bus Menu
Pick one entree (each option includes 1 drink):
  • Smoky pulled pork sandwich and 1 side
  • Spicy chicken jalapeno sandwich and 1 side
  • Picnic plate with pork or chicken and 2 sides
Side dish choices:
  • BBQ Bus beans
  • Vinaigrette slaw
  • Black bean and corn salad
  • Fire-roasted corn (off the cobb)
  • Mac and cheese
  • Kettle chips

Parking: There are several public parking garages available on the same block as the event space as well as metered parking. Parking is not included in your event registration.
